PLEASE NOTE!! This is a revised...new and improved version of this course. The old version which was released on August 26, 2019 should be COMPLETELY uninstalled in order for this new version to function properly!
This is a tribute to the architects who produced the original courses for the PGA Championship Golf game. This tribute goes out to Jim Dickson for his course, Jocassee Shoals, which was chosen to be part of the stock courses for PGA Championship Golf 2000 by Sierra Sports.
Mr. Dickson released the original architect file to the public after PGA Championship Golf 2000 became popular and hundreds of custom courses were being made and distributed through on-line sites.
This is a CONVERSION of that original architect file. I have altered the shot paths and had to add a few holes and eliminate others to make the course play like a real course.
There are quite a few radical elevation changes on this course, but I have tried to make the PIN placements fair. This course was tested on all green conditions except for Wet and Very Wet and all wind conditions except for Gusty and Strong. Quite a few PAR 4 holes can be reached from the tee, but some are very risky! If you like this course, please add some comments. Those comments let an architect know if they are progressing in their skill and also let them know how well the public receives their courses.
