Boy, I haven't played too many of your courses, Bruce, but this one is a tough cookie !
With plenty of trees, especially on the front 9, more bare land on the back 9, and a few tricky slopes on the greens, this par 72 is quite challenging.
Most of the holes are downhill and have a very nice all-around view, starting with the right dogleg par-4 1st hole. Things get more complicated on the green of the right dogleg par-4 2nd hole, with trees all around, making your approach shot quite tough. The par-3 4th hole is "cute" with its downhill slope and small pond on the right of the green.
After the short left dogleg par-5 6th hole, where you will have an eagle opportunity, you will reach the two most gorgeous holes on the front 9 : the downhill right dogleg par-4 7th, with big bunkers on the right of the fairway and the green next to the lake, and the other right dogleg par-4 8th, with its hard-to-see fairway and approach shot over the lake.
Coming back, you might have a feeling of "deja-vu", standing on the tee of the downhill right dogleg par-5 10th hole, quite similar to the 1st hole, but tougher, with more high trees near the green.
The following par-3 11th hole is the only one uphill and you better "enjoy" it as the following... downhill left dogleg par-4 12th hole is quite tough with trees hiding the green completely : in fact, this is a risk/reward hole, where you might be tempted to hit your tee shot over the trees but you won't reach the green !
Another change of scenery awaits you on the very long downhill par-3 13th (more than 260 yards !), with trees very close to the left side of the small green. It continues on the
left dogleg par-5 14th hole with a sloped fairway and an approach shot to the green with no trees nearby !
If you thought the 13th hole was long, then take a look at the very short downhill par-3 16th (108 yards !), quite picturesque with a big lake behind and a lone European flag standing nearby. As for the short par-5 17th, it is spectacular with its huge lake and two bridges to deal with and its green on a small mound.
This fantasy course is a great course that looks realistic, except for a couple of holes; however, what does not look realistic are the... levitating benches on the 1st, 10th and 18th holes with no feet, which could be a problem for senior golfers who want to rest a little bit between holes (LOL) !

Just wanted to add that I managed a hole in one on 11! Expect on the next revision you'll have to prevent that kind of thing! Thanks, Bruce, Jim, great course, one of my top courses.

Damn that tree on 1 in the fairway! Awk! Another one on 2 in front of the green! Had a heck of a time going around the course, was fun to play, as TeeOff said you really have to think, and not only on your tee shot. Course plays well, is nice to look at, thanks so much bryder!

Great course Bruce. What i like about it is that you have to think where you want to place your tee shot for the best approach. It is certainly not a case of blasting every ball off the tee. Choice of planting and scenery excellent.

The way we are playing here you might want to throw the clubs in the lake. If you throw the clubs in the lake, you might miss the lake.

No course in the works: retired.
