Course Architect Comments

This course is (loosely) based on a public park, not far from where I live.
It used to be an area for timber production, so trees have been planted in neat rows, with ditches at regular intervals for drainage.
Originally it was just a nine hole affair, but recently the proprietor acquired some land on the other side of the canal, where he had a back nine laid out, with fairways a bit more generous than those on the front nine.
This offers a nice contrast, a bit like getting two courses for the price of one.
