Course Architect Comments
The Old Course at St Mellion in Cornwall is a championship golf course in its own right. Whilst not a long course at just under 5,800 yards with a par of 68, it has many holes which will test the very best golfer. The long par 4 third will require 2 accurate shots to reach the green in regulation where bunkers are ideally placed to catch both your tee shot and approach. The twelfth is the most picturesque of the par three's with the lake being quite intimidating to the nervous player. To hit the green however is most satisfying.
