A really great course with elevation on every hole I believe, and most holes encouraging you to go for the green - which you can do at your own risk! Like the course, my score went up and down the whole round. It seemed the distances needed, given the elevation, were spot-on, but misses ended up in tough rough even close to the greens. Loved it, a favorite, and thanks to TeeOffTowersey for his work and ability. Can't believe I'm the 4th comment, this course deserves dozens!

An exquisite course from Teeofftowersey (maybe one of his best), with a very unusual par 66 with no par-5 holes, 6 par-3s (4 of them on the back 9) and only one par-4 hole over 400 yards. but with plenty of elevation, slanted and/or undulating fairways, a lot of blind shots, not to mention some tricky greens, this course is a real treat all along, with beautiful plantings and a gorgeous panorama (mountains and lakes) seen on a lot of holes ! Right off the bat, the short (around 310 yards) par-4 opening hole will challenge you if you want to reach the green with a blind tee shot over a heavily-undulating fairway, before heading for the par-3 2nd, next to a road (with a few cars) on the left, partially hidden by a small wall and a hedge, where you will need to hit another blind tee shot over some nice gorse bushes. The par-4 3rd hole is also very short (about 255 yards), with another blind tee shot downward a slanted and undulating fairway, unlike the par-4 4th, steeply uphill all the way, with a blind approach to the green. Then, after the short (about 320 yard) par-4 5th hole, with another blind and downhill tee shot to the green, slightly to the left, you will move on to the right dogleg par-4 6th, downhill all the way with a tee shot over some trees on the right side, a small pond on the left, midway through the undulating fairway, and another blind approach to the green. Two uphill holes follow with the right dogleg par-4 7th, uphill all the way with a tee shot over a small stream, and the pretty par-3 8th hole, with a slightly-uphill tee shot over a small valley toward the hilly green, before reaching the straight par-4 9th, where you can reach the green with a blind tee shot over a small stream midway. The back 9 starts with the nice par-3 10th hole, with a little stream below the green, and continues with the short (about 270 yards) and straight par-4 11th, uphill all the way with a heavily-undulating fairway. But my favorite hole is the magnificent left dogleg par-4 12th, with a blind and steep downhill tee shot over plenty of trees on the left side and an uphill second shot to the green, with a little pond on the left and a small rocky hill on the right ! If you are still in a gambling mood, then you will love the short (about 315 yards) down-and-up par-4 13th hole where, with a little bit of luck, you can reach the green, hidden by trees on the left. After another blind tee shot to reach the green of the par-4 14th hole, you will move on to the pretty, but relatively “easy”, par-3 15th, with a tee shot over a small stream running diagonally from the left of the tee all the way to the green. You will then reach the longest hole on this course, the left dogleg par-4 16th (more than 450 yards), with an uphill tee shot landing onto a slanted fairway (next to the road on the left), with some medium rough across, followed by a blind and downhill shot toward the green, with a little stream behind. Finally, the right dogleg par-4 17th hole is quite pretty, as it is uphill all the way with its rock-made wgc initials written on a small mound behind the green on the left, next to a small clubhouse and parking lot, unlike the par-3 18th hole, quite “ordinary”, especially for a last hole. Needless to say, this Windermere course is a... mere wonder, thanks to Teeofftowersey ! And, icing on the cake, it also offers us a rare occasion to finish with a scorecard below 60, another reason why you hurry to download it...
