Just another great course from TeeOff, narrow fairways (at least for me...) and the "difficult" pins were just that, but the greens were fair, the bounces fair, a tough course but when you're done with it you kind of feel good with a 2 under! Thanks for the "real" course, do enjoy that.

First of all, thank you very much, TeeOffTowersey, for releasing another real course ! After playing so many fantasy ones lately, it is nice to go back to "reality".. This par 71, set in England's hilly countryside is quite enjoyable and very well designed with plenty of elevation changes, undulated and slanted fairways, a few tricky slopes on the greens and a nice attention paid to details (small stone walls, fences, cars on the roads - and running on the "right" side !). After a straight par-4 1st hole, with cute houses lined up on the right side of the fairway, I like the straight par-4 4th hole, with nice flowers in front of the tee box and where you will need to hit a blind tee shot to reach the very undulated fairway, and the right dogleg par-5 5th, with its undulated and slanted fairway, and slightly elevated green. Starting with the par-3 6th hole, the scenery changes with a gentle downhill slope to the green (with nice fences on the right side of the fairway), and is followed by the very steep and short (about 330 yards) downhill par-4 7th hole, one of my favorites, quite picturesque with its small stone wall in front of the tee box and tiny creek below and behind the green, reachable from the tee box. The par-4 8th hole, with its tee shot over the small valley and a little creek, and its uphill approach shot to the green, is pretty too with a small winding road on the left side of the fairway and behind the green. If you like the 8th hole, you will love the right dogleg par-4 10th, quite similar with its steep downhill slope toward a little creek and its beautiful view of the elevated green with another small creek behind and nice stone walls around. After the par-4 11th hole, pretty with the little crossroad and cars behind the elevated green, the very short par-3 12th hole offers a nice panoramic view near the green, with more cars on the road on the right side of the fairway. The par-4 13th hole, on another hand, will "force" you to hit two blind shots, over a lone tree off the tee to the other side of the hill, and toward the green, and is followed by two par-5 holes, the first one with an uphill tee shot and lots of trees on the right side of the fairway (next to the road), and the latter, slightly to the right, with an undulated and slanted fairway and a tough pin placement. Then, after the "cute" par-3 17th hole, with plenty of bushes in front near the tee box and the road on the right side, you will be glad to reach the nice par-5 18th hole, with its undulated and slanted fairway along the road on the right side, and where you should have one last eagle opportunity, before heading for the nice clubhouse near the green... With nice plantings, this hilly course is quite picturesque and, with its wide open look and beautiful countryside, you will have a ball playing at Hallamshire Golf Club, thanks to TeeOffTowersey's great designing work ! P.S. Not sure, once again, if it is a TW07 bug, but I noticed two big grainy patches between the horizon and the plot, mainly on the 1st and 8th holes (and, to a much lesser extent, on the 5th, 15th and 18th holes...). P.S (2) And a tiny detail on the 2nd hole : the left tee marker is half the size of the right one !
