I'm motivated to echo the thoughts of all the other reviews. Absolutely 98% incredible TW08 golf course design. I subtracted 2% as I get slowdown on holes 15 and 18, which can make the round difficult to finish. I think I would happily turn down which ever setting I needed in order to play this wonderful golf course. I can't imagine the time and effort it took. Many thanks.

what an awesome panorama from the bay on this par 70 course, where only one hole (the par-3 8th) is uphill. with such gorgeous views and beautiful plantings, it is very hard to concentrate on the course itself, which might explain why only 4 pros have broken par in 4 us open...
even though all the holes, except the 8th, have downhill slopes, they are not as easy as they seem to be, at first glance. the front 9 has plenty of doglegs, and club selection on approach shots can be tough to reach the narrow greens. the back 9, on the other hand, is more straightforward, with quite a few narrow fairways, and is less challenging.
two holes deserve a special mention for their spectacular views from the tees : the par-3 3rd and the dogleg to the right par-4 10th but, no matter where you are, the scenery is breathtaking.
needless to say, this course is a definite masterpiece and bobby bolin hit a... home run, with this updated version, much steeper than his previous ones !
