I'll echo previous commentary, an absolutely terrific design of a beautiful golf course. The only thing missing is me actually playing the real course. Will certainly play it on a regular basis. Thanks for the hard work and time investment. Absolutely one of many great designs.

It constantly amazes me how many great courses there are, all for our golfing pleasure. Homeboy is amazing, and this course is exactly right, a beautiful links course that challenges you and rewards you at the same time. Thanks, Homeboy, it's amazing.

Big contrast with Royal Lytham & St Annes where I just finished playing. Here, you better hit the fairways : if not, you are in deep trouble in... deep rough (even worse than the bunkers) ! This course looks very nice and plays smoothly with some blind & uphill shots (9th, 11th holes) and that little pond in the middle of the 17th is enough to make you think about twie about where to hit your tee shot. As for the view leading to the clubhouse with the church in the background on the 18th, it looks very nice. I just finished playing the 2007 version prior to this one and I will definitely keep this one: buildings look better, textures too. A very good links course worth playing quite a few times.

Wanted to play a links course before crashing tonight, and went with this one. Cool course, and I love the bushes in the traps & they make ya respect them bunker even more when staring up from below in the sand. Looked for any opening that wasn't as thick maybe when hitting out of them, but it got me a few times. That's what I get for hitting it in the bunkers. Great links course, and just like any course I've played of yours. It was just beautiful work & attention to detail is lovely while FPS didn't suffer in the process.
Loved the view coming up the 18th with the bunkers lining the fairway all the way down the hole, and the blind tee shot on the 9th hole is killer. You even put the black & white marker stick behind the 3rd hole green so we could see the from the blind spot just like the real course does. Liked the club houses & pano too, and I could gone on & on with what I like, but I'm sure everyone got my point. Cool course that gives a good challenge in any conditions, and stay out of the long grass or you be hating life whacking your way out.........LOL Link courses have a special place in my heart, and this one doesn't disappoint with it's layout & history. Tuff round where I had to pull off some good shots just to shot what I did. Scored +12 in breezy, difficult pins, heavy ruff, and pro tees, but like always. I try to take a course for what it is, and not what I want it to be. I will try to master this course down the road when I play more like I did before trying to design.
Thanks for you time while making this course Squirrely

Beautifully made course, so smooth and the undulations as Fishbowlman says made it more interesting. I didn't like the contrasting colours of the rough though and hated these damn pampas grass thingies in the bunker, cost me quite a few shots :). Great course.

Roger, this captures a seaside links course perfectly. I love the slight feeling of panic wondering where my drive will end up due to the undulating fairways.
I like the sound of the waves on the coastal holes.
Very nicely done. This one's a keeper.

A masterpiece, Roger
I just played a few rounds on it - it plays just as tough as the real course, even the undulations undulate! Excellent rendition, from the (flowering) Whinns to the brutal rough green-side of the bunkers, and great work on the Hotel and Club-house Jimi - took me down memory lane. I even spotted a sandy road leading to a car-park on the North West corner of the course. My cousins and I used to jump in my Uncle's Cortina, drive from Dundrum and walk from just such a car park to the beach as kids - nice touch! I totally agree with the Gusty Very Dry suggestion - even more like the real thing on a windy summers day.
A gem - thank you !
cheers,
davy

Thanks for the nice comments. I didn't really plan on updating this course, but I had a few requests. Jimi's new structures really add a nice look to the course, so thanks a lot jimi. I debated getting rid of the bushes around the bunkers this year, but Davy tells me they really are there in real life. Remember, just like in real life, you can elect to drop a ball in the game if you don't want to hack around in the bushes.
And yes, the front 9 of Loch Lomond is done ... hope to have the course complete by Christmas. Cheers.
