Installation Instructions:
Step 1 install the course. Make sure to copy over all the contents of the cls folder if the installer doesn't do it, itself. (The cls folder in the course folder should have 92 files in it.)
Step 2 You will find a file named wave01.dds inside the zip file I've given you. Please extract it to the main courses folder in your Tiger Woods directory. It will overwrite the default ocean wave with my improved version. Backup the original file first if you wish.
Step 3 install texmod, if needed, then extract the other file included in the zip, named Night Golfing.tpf. That is the texmod file needed for the night sky. I generally place texmod loading files in the main texmod directory which I keep on my desktop.
Step 4 Once you''re ready, start up texmod. You''ll get the little texmod window. Click on the icon top left which looks like a file folder. Browse to the location of the TW2008.exe program, which should be in the bin folder, inside the main Tiger Woods folder. You only need to browse the first time you use texmod. After that, it will be available viz drop down menu the next time you click on the folder.
Step 5 Once you've selected the Tiger Woods game, you now have to select the Night Golfing package. Click on the file folder in the middle of the window, just above the red ''X''. Browse to wherever you extracted the night golfing.tpf file. After selecting it, it will now appear in the list of selected packages.
Now hit run and it will take you into the game like normal.
Final Note:
For best visual results, when you go to set up your round of golf, you must select the following 2 options when setting a round of play. Daytime must be set to Noon, and the Sky must be set to Clear. Otherwise, the sky won''t look its best. The noon setting is to reduce shadows as much as possible.
Additional Note: The cls defaults to having tournament structures and galleries for tournament play. If you do not wish these, there is a second cls.tbf included called cls no galleries.tbf in the cls folder for the course. Simply go into that folder, find cls.tbf and rename it to something else (cls with galleries.tbf if you wish). Then rename cls no tournament.tbf to just cls.tbf. Now your night golfing experience will not have galleries or tournament structures.
