Sometimes there are those who are larger than the game who play it. Michael D. Merizzi (MDM3673) was one of those people. He was a member of this community since 2009 and along the way he helped lots of golfers with their online game, including myself, and was generous with his time and genuinely cared about others.
The list of those he made a lasting impression upon is long and what follows is just a small sampling:
slippery, "...me and mdm go back a long way when we played golf in bulldogs gang we started a great bond back then and have been friends from then on...R.I.P. MY GOOD FRIEND MDM..MIKE MERIZZI...LOVED HIM LIKE A BROTHER BYE MY FRIEND"
bkclicker, "alot of people really didnt know how to take Mike but in his own way he was a kind, big hearted straight to the point, take it or leave it, kiss my ass, type of person. I would always just laugh when ever he got pissed off about the game or somebody and just cuss up a storm. Both of us are marines so he held a special respect from me and i considered him a brother...Semper Fi my friend"

RustySunshine, "Don't know how to start this but here goes. MDM and i had this special kind of friendship that goes back a long way. He got me into golf back in the good ol EA Sports day's...never a bad word was said to each other, other than being in jest...Goodbye my Friend".
Julio, "I found out a few minutes ago the departure of Mr. Michael Merizzi, the dear MDM ... I will never forget his generous laugh, his jokes with me..it is a pitiful loss and I am deeply sad"
Lawrence, "It is with deep sadness and shock to hear of the passing of Michael. He was a big member [in more ways than one] of the G4F group. He played a pivotal role in its operation and contributed greatly to the online discussions that were held. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends. May they be comforted by the knowledge that they had the pleasure of his company".
Any recollections that you had of Michael can be expressed in the comments on this course. His loss has left a large hole in the Tiger Woods community and in many hearts.
Michael was born in Upstate New York. Therefore this course is based upon one that I released several years ago called Ouaquaga Golf Club, a fictional course located on an old Indian reservation in Upstate NY. It seemed fitting to modify the old course and dedicate it to MDM. Thanks for those who tested it and gave me their feedback. I can hear Michael exclaiming, "I hate this ...game!" while playing this tribute! Rest in peace old friend.
