George C. Thomas designed Bel-Air in 1926 and wound the course through three canyons bordering the UCLA campus. Golfers travel through three tunnels and up an elevator as they traverse through some of Los Angeles's prime real estate. Tom Doak restored the course in the 2010s to its former glory. Hole 10's swinging bridge highlights the iconic architecture at Bel-Air. Designed by Bobby Bolin in 2021.
Thanks to: GolfMike- Graphics Quietly- Testing, some fantastic suggestions, and most importantly using his phenomenal CLS skills to make the tunnels on holes 5 and 9 Steve Richardson- Making the clubhouse for a different course in 2005, which I was finally able to use for this one 16 years later All Library Makers- Can''t design without you!
The course is a par 70 that plays about 6,900 yards.
Note: If you go over the back of the 18th green, your golfer may end up on the bridge. The 3 key will work to find him or her. |
