This Course is the hardest Municipal Course based near Manchester (Heaton Park, but my surname is Eaton). i constructed it from memory of playing it many times and there is no exaggeration, believe me. it is like an assault course. built on a former refuse landfill site. get up those hills no matter which club you have to use. on 9 it is possible to get over that hill. when crossing the gorge, don't end up in it or it'll be a long time before you get out. if playing a tournament, play the last day alone as computer players tend to end up in the gorge and never get back out - same goes for what remains of the refuse tip on 11, best get over than hit into it, but watch you don't hit over the sloping green. on fast surface, one or two greens are almost unplayable, but i can no longer modify them in the course architect.
there is sufficient leeway to make birdies and eagles, so have fun. one of the most difficult courses you will ever have played. |
