Considered one of the finest links courses in the world, Ballybunions reputation grew over time. Unfortunately, its remote locale on the Irish coast has prevented the course from being selected for many top championship events. Still, a number of the worlds best players have found their way to the famed course. One, in particular, has had a lasting impact. Tom Watson first visited Ballybunion in 1981 and has returned often. In 1995, he remodeled Ballybunion into the course that exists today. In 2005 Ballybunion was ranked by Golf Digest as the seventh best course in the world outside the United States.Tom Watson undertook what was for him a labour of love, updating the old course, giving it a facelift to the century-old lady so beloved by all. After his deft and loving surgery she now presents to the world a face more beautiful than ever. At a later date a PGAX edition may be forthcoming with new structures including correct pano,clubhouse,cottages,gravestones and possibly even a statue of Bill Clinton! C:
ps: As I couldn't find suitable structures for the town side objects Ive included some older buildings that represent whats actually there ie: caravans and holiday homes! Due to the nature of the objects you will need to turn your shader level down in TW08 options. A Top ov thur mornin tu yu! :D |
