Welcome to Sumter National Golf Club 09! This is a rework of the 08 version, with stark improvements to both the playability as well as aesthetic appeal. There are major changes to 9 holes, including the addition of 112 yards, and minor changes to the entire course. As with the other versions of this course, it is highly recommended that it is played on very dry for the full effect. I hope you enjoy the course.

Set in the northwest corner of South Carolina near the Georgia and North Carolina borders, Sumter National Golf Club is a true Championship golf course, measuring 7576 yards from the tips. The course combines both beauty and toughness that few courses can match, with its blooming azaleas, tree lined fairways, numerous water hazards, and lightning fast, severely sloping greens. The par 4s feature a combination of powerful holes, such as the 9th and 17th, as well as tricky short holes that demand attention, such as the drivable par 4s, 6 and 12. The par 5s provide the ultimate in risk-reward golf, with water coming into play on almost every shot. The course also displays one of the most beautiful, yet difficult set of par 3s in golf, from the short 3rd and long 7th, to the idyllic 13th and signature 16th. The combination of these factors will assure a stern test during your round at Sumter National. |
