Course Architect Comments

Hello, and welcome to this slightly altered version of Loveclose Links. This is my first ever course design, so I hope you will give me some encouragement and critical feedback!

Although a fantasy course, the layout is based on a real course in the south of England. The hole layout is realistic as are the hole lengths. The only lake that really exists is the one in front of the 16th tee. In reality, this is a parkland course with very few frills. The tree plantations are well established and form most of the hazards on the course in reality. Green side trees like those on the 3rd and 12th are realistically placed. Higher difficulty settings are recommended to play this course as it is very much a club golfers? course with many hazards set to catch the club golfer. The course should be played from the tournament tees as these were built specially for when some prestigious tournaments were held there some years ago.
