The most spectacular hiking area in Washington State, USA is without a doubt The Enchantments. A fairy tale setting in the fall with Golden Larch trees.
Originally many features used Valkyrie names from Old Norse legend, such as Brynhildr, Olrun, Regenleif and Sigrun.
You know the Hiker Bob style: big elevation changes, stunning scenery, water water everywhere, strategic shot placement and tricky greens.
The Golden Larch trees require launching the game using Texmod
1. Download the TexMod application from - https://www.moddb.com/downloads/texmod4
Extract the zip file and locate the TexMod folder anywhere on your computer
2. Find the TexMod package ''EnchantmentsTexMod.tpf'' inside the course directory -
C:\Program Files (x86)\EA SPORTS\Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 08\Courses\Enchantments\
Copy and paste this package file into the TexMod folder
3. Open the TexMod.exe application
Leave the tab in Package Mode
Select the folder for the Target Application and browse to TW08 -
C:\Program Files (x86)\EA SPORTS\Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 08\bin\TW2008.exe
Select the little folder icon in the center of the TexMod dialog
Select browse and choose the EnchantmentsTexMod.tpf file
Click Run at the bottom of the TexMod dialog
TW08 will start
4. Run a Custom Game selecting The Enchantments course in TW08
Some of the Westchester trees will be yellow in any course
The effect is temporary and the trees will return to green upon lauching TW08 normally
