For once, I found this B version a little bit easier than the A one but, then again, maybe it was because I managed to hit better putts (ha, ha) ! Anyway, this spectacular course, designed by the CGX team has a nice city panorama (with some high-rise condominiums and suburban houses), beautiful plantings along (often) winding fairways, and plenty of water hazards with a few small greens, especially on the back 9. After the first three holes, mostly straight and slightly-uphill, with a tee shot over part of an elongated lake landing onto a tree-lined fairway on the par-4 1st, you will move on to the right dogleg par-5 4th hole, very picturesque with a meandering and small elongated river on the right all along the fairway, ending midway, and with a long approach toward a small green, surrounded by four small bunkers. As you reach the slightly-elevated green of the par-4 6th hole, you will have a beautiful panoramic view of the city skyline and the lake (on the left and behind the green), just like on the scenic par-3 7th, with a tee shot over a lake, with a few trees to watch for (near the green), before heading for the short left dogleg par-5 8th hole where, after hitting a tee shot over a little bit of water, you should be able to putt for an eagle after reaching the green on your second shot. On the more challenging and even prettier back 9, the right dogleg par-4 10th is one of my favorite holes, with a tee shot across a lake flowing then all along the narrow fairway on the right (and past the green, with a nice little arched bridge behind), and is followed by the pretty right dogleg par-4 11th, with another tee shot over the meandering lake and a slightly-elevated green, surrounded by a few puzzle-shaped bunkers. Then, barring a miracle approach, you can forget about getting an eagle on the beautiful left dogleg par-5 12th hole, slightly-uphill, with a tee shot landing onto a serpentine fairway (with two well-placed bunkers, midway on the right), and a blind and very tough second shot toward the green, with trees on the edge of a lake on the left (and behind), making it almost unreachable. The right dogleg par-4 13th hole is quite scenic too, with a slightly-uphill tee shot landing... downward onto the fairway, hugging a lake all along on the right, and a second shot over a little part of it toward the green, just like the pretty par-3 14th, with a tee shot over an elongated lake landing onto the green, with big bunkers on the left. On the right dogleg par-5 15th hole, you will have to hit a very accurate downhill tee shot over some trees, lined up on the right to avoid a big bunker behind, in order to have a (long) shot at reaching the green, with another elongated lake on the left, before heading for the right dogleg par-4 16th, with its narrow fairway hugging the lake on the left. Then, after the par-3 17th hole, you will finish with the right dogleg par-4 18th, with more water all along the fairway on the right, and a blind and slightly-downhill approach to the green, with a very... ordinary clubhouse behind. With its beautiful landscape, this par 73 will offer you plenty of challenging holes, but you will have also some eagle opportunities on all three par-5 holes on the front 9, unlike on your way back where you will have to hit pretty accurate shots to finish with a decent score on this gorgeous Jaypee Greens coure, designed by the CGX team...
