Just another great course, Holein1 said it all, all I can add is the greens aren't quite as quick as some of the other courses on dry, but they run true with the right speed on the putt. Beautiful course to play, thanks.

Five years after TeeOffTowersey’s version, the CGX team designed their own (released again today), quite pretty with a nice landscape, beautiful fairway and green textures, and with plenty of water hazards on the front 9 and a couple of challenging finishing holes. My favorite holes, on the front 9, are the left dogleg par-4 2nd, with its approach over a serpentine creek, the left dogleg par-5 3rd, with a very tough (second or third ?) shot over a big lake (right in front of the green), and the right dogleg par-4 4th hole, with another approach toward the green, over more water. If the par-4 5th hole is straight with water on both sides of the fairway, near the tee on the right and midway on the left, I prefer the much nicer left dogleg par-4 6th, with the fairway hugging a big lake on the left, over which you will need to hit your approach to reach the green. Then, after the pretty par-3 7th hole, with a tee shot over a wide lake, you will face the par-4 8th, with another big lake on the left and a green, slightly to the left (with another creek in front), before finishing with the left dogleg par-4 9th hole, with a big pond, midway across the fairway, and a small lake, right in front of the green, on the right. The back 9 starts with the picturesque right dogleg par-4 10th hole, one of my favorites, with an elongated lake splitting the fairway diagonally and a second shot over it toward the green, and continues with the par-3 12th, with a big pond, right in front of the green. Later on, after the par-5 15th hole, and its long second shot over a small stream across the fairway, you will head to the dogleg par-4 16th, slightly uphill all the way with a green, sharply to the left, before moving on to the tough right dogleg par-5 17th hole, sharply to the right, with another shot over a meandering creek, two-thirds of the way. You will finish with the gorgeous left dogleg par-4 18th hole where, if you can avoid “beheading” (!) a few fans facing the tee box and land your shot to the right of the big serpentine lake, you will have a golden opportunity to score one last birdie if you can get your approach over the lake, close to the flag. Nicely done and pretty to look at, this CGX Brabazon @ The Belfry course is another nice course to keep, thanks to the CGX team !
P.S. I also played again TeeOffTowersey's 2008 version to compare it to this one and, even though it looks nice too, there are more bare surroundings beyond the holes and a few grainy patches, here and there between the layout and the horizon, which is why I will keep the CGX version, this time...
