I've been playing this game since 2003, I have never seen a course like this. Cars driving up and down the streets. Custom Textures that render this well. Rock walls that are so advanced that nobody knows how to do this. Custom pond textures. 8 million structures on this course and it doesn't crash. Custom designed hedge bushes. Galleries and the people are different sizes. PGA tournament design with all the tournament extras, This is A+.

Is it still possible to make a great CGX course even better ? Well, the answer is "yes", as you will find out with this version beautifully designed by Quietly.
With a different panorama, gorgeous (and bigger) villas, nice fairway and green textures, addtional plantings, wide and beautiful stands (some with nice railings around), this par 70 is already a beauty with all its water hazards and well-placed bunkers but, once again, Quietly added his little personal touch with a few... cars passing by (making it hard for you to concentrate as you get ready to putt) behind the greens of the par-3 7th and the par-4 13th holes !
And if you add the colorful crowd, not to mention those high white TV camera towers, you end up with another masterpiece, so real that it is... unreal.
But my favorite holes remain the same : the par-5 3rd, with a couple of lakes, a little apart on both sides of the fairway midway through, and a green, slightly to the right, with a big elongated bunker on the left, a small one on the right and the lake on the left (and behind), the par-3 5th and 7th holes, with tee shots over the water, the par-4 6th, with a tee shot over a “L-shaped” lake with three small islands, filled with trees and a bunker on the left, right in front of the flag, near the water, and the very scenic par-4 9th with its overview as you reach the green.
On the back 9, I like the par-4 11th hole, straight but with a tough second shot to the green, with two elongated lakes on both sides and the par-4 13th, mentioned above.
But the best is for last with the "Bear trap" finishing stretch, starting with the par-3 15th hole (see note below), with a tee shot over a wide lake, followed by the right dogleg par-4 16th, with a fairway hugging a lake on the right (with nice houses lined up next to it), and a tough approach shot over the lake to the green, the pretty par-3 17th hole and the beautiful left dogleg par-5 18th, with a winding fairway and a tee shot over a wide lake ending next to the green (on the right), hard to reach on your long approach and with plenty of VIP stands... and bunkers in front (on the left).
Needless to say, this PGA National Champion course ranks as one of the best you will find on this site, being both visually superb (with all those residential areas and its "tournament atmosphere"), and quite challenging with its water holes and tough approaches to the greens, proving, once again, that Quietly is a very talented and innovative designer, be it with real or fantasy courses...

P.S. Besides all the improved "cosmetic" changes, the main difference I saw was on the par-3 15th hole where the view from the tee box is very nice on the CGX version (see link below by clicking on the 15th hole), with that big bear standing on the right (next to a small rock and its "Bear Trap" sign), unlike on this version where the bear and rock were moved way to the right...

Gorgeous. You are gifted man. Gave us amazing Torrey`s and now this gem. Your attention to the detail is stunning. Course looks so natural, greens are evil. Thank you 1000 times !

A very detailed masterpiece which took,I think, much of your precious time.
I hope Honda sponsored you in a generous way.
Thank you Mr.Quietly!
