After playing the South course, two weeks ago, this lesser-known North one is another beauty from Quietly where, once again, you will have your eyes full gazing at some gorgeous holes, especially on the back 9, while looking up at hang gliders and paragliders, and seeing a few other surprises along the way...
If this par 72 starts “slowly” with some rather easy, but nice, holes, take a few seconds before teeing off on the left dogleg par-4 2nd, so that you can see a plane flying by from the left, far away, before making sure to hit your tee shot away from the big shallow wasteland, filled with bushes on the left of the fairway.
You will then enjoy the pretty (and long) par-3 3rd hole, with its green above the valley and the ocean (with a few paragliders and hang gliders passing by), before moving on to the left dogleg par-4 4th, with more bushes in a shallow area on the left and an elevated green.
After the left dogleg par-5 5th hole, uphill all the way, you will see another plane flying by (this time from the right) as you tee off on the straight par-4 6th hole, and... a car and a truck passing by on the highway behind the green, leading to the ocean !
Similarly, on the short and straight par-4 7th hole, you will see a few cars and trucks moving along the road on the left of the fairway as you try to reach the green, before heading for the scenic par-3 8th, slightly downhill and with a nice panoramic view, and finishing with the right dogleg par-5 9th hole, slightly uphill and with a very big parking lot (filled with plenty of cars) on the left of the green.
You will start the back 9 with the par-5 10th hole, facing the ocean and downhill all the way with a blind second shot (and some more hang gliders and paragliders) before facing another risk/reward hole, the short (320 yards) par-4 11th, slightly uphill with a green to the right, guarded by a few bunkers in front.
Then, after the par-3 12th hole, gorgeous with a tee shot over a small ravine, filled with bushes all the way to the green, and the easier par-4 13th, with a wider but shallower wasteland on the left and a green, slightly to the right, the next three-hole stretch is simply spectacular...
The par-4 14th hole is downhill all the way to the green (slightly to the left) with the ocean behind, and is followed by the superb par-3 15th (maybe my favorite hole), where you will need to hit a steeply-downhill tee shot to reach the green before teeing off on the right dogleg par-4 16th hole, uphill all the way with the fairway next to the cliffs on the left.
You will finish your round with the nice and short (less than 500 yards) left dogleg par-5 17th hole, with another wide sloped area, filled with bushes on the left and a slightly-downhill green (giving you one last chance for a last eagle), before teeing off, next to a marshal on the left) on the straight and easy par-4 18th.
Needless to say, this North course is a perfect complement to its South side. And, with its spectacular sights (and similar special effects created by Quietly), you will definitely enjoy it too !

Just like the South course this one is also beautifully done , if i had to pick id just go for the South course but so little in it for me, many thanks for 2 superb course and plese keep them coming
