This Golf du Palais Royal in Agadir, Morocco, is not a difficult course, with its very wide fairways, but some well-placed bunkers and a few trees, not to mention a couple of elongated lakes and small ponds (near or around the greens) will challenge you, at times, on this well-designed course, pleasant to look at, with the ocean as a backdrop and those high walls all around.
On the front 9, I like the pretty right dogleg par-5 1st hole, with its fairway between an elongated lake on the far right and the ocean on the far left (and behind the green), and the left dogleg par-5 5th, with a very wide fairway but also with a very risky (and long) second shot if you want to reach the green, with two big ponds, left and right, in front of the slightly-elevated green, only separated by a tiny patch of fairway.
Other holes worth mentioning are the par-3 8th, with trees partially hiding the green on the left, and the nice dogleg par-4 9th, with its fairway hugging a high wall all along on the left.
But I prefer the back 9, starting with the par-5 10th hole, with a small pond to the right of the green (slightly to the left), followed by the gorgeous par-3 12th (my favorite), with a lake all along on the right, starting halfway and ending behind the green.
The par-3 14th hole is nice too, with a small elongated lake in front to the right of the green (but is not as difficult as the 12th), and is followed by two par-5 holes (with the par-3 16th in between, with a few trees, partially blocking the view of the green).
The 15th hole is uphill all the way with a wide and slanted fairway and a green, slightly to the left, whereas the 17th has a green, slightly to the right, with 6 bunkers in front (and to the right) of the slightly-elevated green.
Overall, with its nice open views, you should finish with a low score on this par 72, especially considering that you will have eagle opportunities on all par-5 holes, enough to make you feel like the king... of golf at this Royal Palace !

As you can see there is a A and B version of this course, both versions are the same, only the flag position on the green is different.
