With very nice textures used for the undulating and often rollercoaster fairways, this par 70 is not overly difficult but it plays smoothly, and has plenty of second shots over small creeks, and a back 9 a little more scenic. After two easy holes, I like the straight par-4 3rd, with a downhill tee shot and a slightly-uphill approach to the undulating green over a small creek crossing the fairway diagonally, the short (318 yards) right dogleg par-4 5th hole, where reaching the green with your blind and uphill tee shot is very risky (not to mention facing those fans up close in front of the tee box !), the down-and-up par-3 6th, with its elevated green, and the left dogleg par-4 7th hole, uphill all the way, with a tee shot over another creek crossing the fairway diagonally... Then, after the par-3 8th hole and its tee shot over a small elongated lake (mostly on the right), you will need to hit a downhill tee shot landing onto an undulating fairway on the par-4 9th, followed by an uphill approach to the green. The back 9 has more down-and-up holes, starting with the nice panoramic view as you tee off downward the narrow fairway over a small meandering creek on the par-4 10th, with another uphill second shot toward the tricky green (with a very heavy backspin !), and continuing with the left dogleg par-4 11th hole, over that winding creek again and with a steeply-elevated green, and the par-4 12th hole. Then, after the uphill par-3 13th, with a tee shot over a little slope on the right, and the right dogleg par-4 14th hole, downhill all the way, you will reach the right dogleg par-4 15th, one of my favorites, quite scenic, with a small lake on the right of the tee box, a downhill tee shot over another meandering creek (with five big bunkers right behind in the corner of the slanted fairway), and an uphill approach to the green. Finally, after the uphill par-3 16th hole, and the par-5 17th where, after a downhill tee shot toward the narrow fairway, you should be able to putt for an eagle after your long uphill approach, you will move on to the pretty left dogleg par-4 18th hole, and hit another downhill tee shot landing near a winding creek crossing the fairway midway, followed by a last uphill approach toward the green, with all those cheering fans around ! If this Hamilton Golf and CC course is well-designed as usual by the CGX team, it is not the most challenging you will ever face, with hardly any bunkers to be "afraid" of, but the back 9 is quite nice with more elevation changes, narrower fairways and its small creeks...
