Unplayable with TW07, as I mentioned earlier in my comments, this par 70 plays very smoothly with TW08 and, with plenty of water hazards, nice plantings, and challenging approaches, is delightful to watch too. After a nice opening par-4 hole, along the lake on the left, I like the left dogleg par-4 2nd, with a tee shot over a meandering small river and an elongated lake near the left side of the green, and the par-5 3rd hole, where you should check... your life insurance policy before teeing off, as fans stand right in front of the tee (!) ; if you can avoid them, you will then face a couple of lakes, a little apart on both sides of the fairway midway through, and a green, slightly to the right, with a big elongated bunker on the left, a small one on the right and the lake on the left and behind ! The par-3 5th hole is also pretty, with a tee shot along a lake on the right ending in front of the green, just like the par-4 6th, with a tee shot over a “L-shaped” lake with three small islands, filled with trees and a bunker on the left, right in front of the flag, near the water. The last par-3 on the front 9, the 7th hole, needs another tee shot over the water crossing the fairway from the left, before finishing with the scenic par-4 9th, with a tee shot over an elongated lake and a green, slightly to the left. Coming back, the par-4 11th hole is straight but has a tough second shot to the green, with two elongated lakes on both sides, unlike the right dogleg par-4 12th, with trees, partially hiding the green next to a very narrow elongated lake on the right (with nice homes all along, and the pretty and tough par-4 13th hole, with a tee shot over a lake and four big bunkers after (lined up on the left) as you reach the green, with two smaller ones on the right. Then, after the nice par-3 15th hole, with a tee shot over a wide lake and the flag, very close to the water, you will move on to one of my favorite holes, the right dogleg par-4 16th, with a fairway hugging a lake on the right (with nice houses lined up next to it), and a tough approach shot over the lake to the green. After a tee shot over more... fans (!) and a meandering lake midway on the par-3 17th hole, you will finish with another one of my favorite holes, the tough and beautiful left dogleg par-5 18th, with a winding fairway and a tee shot over a wide lake ending next to the green (on the right), hard to reach on your long approach and with plenty of VIP tents and bunkers in front (on the left). As you can expect, it was nice to (finally) be able to discover this well-designed CGX course, which will be added to my (long) collection...
