With small hills as a backdrop, this par 72 has wide-open views all around, very few trees, quite a few blind and slightly uphill or downhill tee shots, and a back 9 more scenic and challenging, especially the last few holes with plenty of water hazards. On the front 9, I like the right dogleg par-5 1st hole, with its downhill tee shot, a big elongated pond on the left not far from the fairway, and a green, surrounded by bunkers, and the left dogleg par-4 2nd, with a blind and slightly-uphill tee shot and an approach shot, downhill to the green. If the left dogleg par-4 6th hole is quite short (about 340 yards) and has plenty of deep rough in front of the green and a few bunkers on the left, I prefer the scenic par-3 7th, with more dirt and deep rough in front of the tee box, and a small pond with trees on the right, partially hiding a bunker and the green behind ! The par-5 9th hole is also very pretty with a slightly-downhill tee shot and a slightly-uphill (and long) approach shot to the elevated green, quite tough to reach with a big pond a little bit in front (and to the right) and a couple of bunkers waiting for you with “open arms” ! The back 9 starts with another nice par-5, the right dogleg 10th hole, with a small pond on the right not far from the tee box, a downhill tee shot, and a long second shot over the slanted fairway to the green. Then, after the left dogleg par-4 15th hole, uphill all the way with medium rough and a couple of bunkers in the middle of the fairway, and a small pond on the left, not far from the elevated green, and the par-3 16th, with a small elongated pond on the left on the green, slightly downhill, you will reach my two favorite holes (besides the 7th). The right dogleg par-4 17th hole is beautiful with a downhill tee shot over trees halfway, partially hiding the fairway with a meandering creek (on the right) splitting the fairway across further back, and an approach shot over it to reach the green, just like the left dogleg par-4 18th, with elongated ponds on both sides of the fairway almost joining in the middle and an uphill approach shot to the green ! Well-designed as usual by the CGX team, this Albatross Golf Resort, with its slight elevations and blind shots offers some challenging holes, mostly on the back 9, and you should enjoy your first round in the Czech Republic...

As you can see there is a A and B version of this course, both versions are the same, only the flag position on the green is different. Important note: a lot of CGX courses are only playable from the: PRO tees The cgx designers created courses in high tempo, so they only made the pro tees playable. So in TW08 you have to select the PRO tees.
