Another very nice course from Micko, with beautiful mountains as a panorama, quite a few elevation changes, some undulating greens, and a back 9, maybe more scenic with challenging water holes to finish. This par 72 starts with a nice panoramic view from the tee on the right dogleg par-4 1st hole, followed by an approach shot to the elevated green, and continues with the straight par-4 2nd, with a downhill tee shot along the tree-lined fairway and a slightly-elevated green. If the right dogleg par-5 3rd hole is nice, with another downhill tee shot along the tree-lined fairway and a long approach shot to the slightly-elevated and undulating green (with a big bunker in front on the left), one of my favorite holes is the straight par-3 4th with its gorgeous little pond in the middle, surrounded by colorful flowers, with a few small rocks and some reeds in it ! Then, after the par-4 5th hole, with a downhill tee shot and a blind (and steeply-uphill) approach shot to the green, slightly to the left, you will head for the par-5 6th, downhill all the way to the slightly-elevated green, with a small pond on the left. After the right dogleg par-4 7th hole, with a blind uphill shot down the slope and an elevated green, and the straight par-3 8th, quite pretty with its panoramic view as you reach the green with your blind tee shot, you will face the left dogleg par-4 9th hole, with a wide-open downhill tee shot, small condominiums in the right corner and a big clubhouse with tennis courts further back ! The scenery changes on the back 9 with water coming into play on quite a few holes, after the right dogleg par-4 10th, with a downhill green, the left dogleg par-5 11th hole, with a downhill tee shot and a slightly-elevated green and the right dogleg par-4 12th, with its blind uphill approach shot to the green. On the par-3 13th hole, you will need to hit a blind tee shot downhill and avoid the small pond in front of the green on the right (while admiring at the same time the nice panoramic view), before heading for the left dogleg par-4 14th, with another blind tee shot down a narrow tree-line fairway and a downhill shot to the green. The last three holes are very pretty : the par-5 16th is a right dogleg, uphill all the way to the elevated green, with a little creek in front, small condominiums further behind on the left (and a lake way to the right), the straight par-4 17th hole is simply gorgeous, with a wide lake on the left, and the par-4 18th, again along the lake on the left, has a nice panoramic view of the clubhouse on the right and the mountains in the back. With its subtle elevation changes, beautiful scenery all around and water hazards, Rosensee is another great design from Micko and another definite keeper !
