Nice course, plays smooth and lots of trees line the very wide fairways plenty of sand traps to avoid. With wide f/ways and flatish greens it is not to stern of a test. Will not be a keeper for everyone but none the less this is a nice open course. Another nice track by CGX.Many thanks.

as Deepblue said you really need to to play most courses including CGX ones with plenty of wind etc, my standard set up is advanced 3 click , dry/breezy/difficult pins and tournament tees if possible , much more like real golf i find and a great test, ive dabbled with expert but im to lazy and i play to quick lol.

Par 70 7396 yds. Plays on very easy side in normal conditions. Pretty flat fairways and greens. To make this one interesting ramp up to breezy or windy. Its a wide open course - enjoy.

With fall-colored trees, wide fairways and smooth greens, this par 70 is not too difficult but it plays smoothly, with some slightly-uphill tee shots and with a back 9 more challenging with quite a few water holes. On the front 9, I like the right dogleg par-5 6th hole, with a slightly-uphill tee shot and a downhill slope to the green, but my favorite holes are on the back 9, more scenic and tougher. It starts with the dogleg par-4 10th hole, with a small lake (with a fountain in the middle) on the left side of the green, slightly to the left, and then, after the left dogleg par-5 12th, with a slightly-uphill tee shot and a long second shot to the green, continues with the short (about 370 yards) dogleg par-4 14th hole, similar to the 10th, with a small lake on the left (with that fountain again). But the last few holes are my favorites as they are quite scenic : on the par-4 15th, you will need to hit a blind and uphill tee shot, with a big lake on the left and a smaller one further to the right, before hitting your approach shot over the first one to reach the green, whereas on the par-4 16th hole, your tee shot will fly along the lake on the left with a second shot over it (and to the left) to reach the green, with two small bridges nearby. Then, after the par-3 17th hole, quite picturesque, with a tee shot over a small bridge and an elongated lake crossing the fairway diagonally from the left and past the green (to the right), you will need to hit a slightly-uphill tee shot on the left dogleg par-4 18th hole, (while making sure to avoid a small lake on the left midway), before heading for the big clubhouse and parking lot behind the green ! AS usual, the CGX team designed a beautiful course where you should be able to score well as the greens are not too difficult, no matter which version you play...

Note: The course will be listed as first course of your installed CGX courses, because there is a dubble space between CGX and Royal. So it will be the first course listed in your installed CGX courses. As you can see there is a A and B version of this course, both versions are the same, only the flag position on the green is different. Important note: a lot of CGX courses are only playable from the: PRO tees The cgx designers created courses in high tempo, so they only made the pro tees playable. So in TW08 you have to select the PRO tees.
