Three months after my previous comments, I can now write about this CGX Sedgefield CC 2014 course, now that I am able to play with TW08. With no displaying bugs to report (unlike playing with TW07), this well-designed course (by the CGX team) is not breathtaking but it has a few challenging holes with plenty of downhill tee shots and elevated greens, and a few creeks to watch for. On the front 9, I like the right dogleg par-4 2nd hole, with a downhill tee shot and with a little meandering creek crossing the fairway midway and ending to the right of the green, the par-3 3rd, slightly uphill with a little creek crossing the fairway diagonally halfway from the left, the par-4 6th hole, with a downhill tee shot landing near a little creek, splitting the fairway halfway (and a slightly-uphill approach to the green), and the downhill par-3 7th, with a tiny creek in front of the green, on the left and on the right. I also like the right dogleg par-4 9th hole, uphill all the way with a nice country club behind the green. The back 9 has some nice holes too, starting with the left dogleg par-4 10th, with a downhill tee shot and an elevated green, slightly to the left and the downhill par-3 12th, with a small winding creek across the fairway, albeit a little bit far from the green... But my favorite holes are the right dogleg par-4 15th, with a downhill tee shot landing near a small creek on the left midway and a slightly-uphill second shot to the green with a big elongated lake on the right (and a couple of small bunkers in front), and the pictureque par-3 16th hole, with a downhill tee shot over a lake crossing the fairway not far from the green ! On the dogleg par-4 17th hole, you will need to hit a downhill tee shot over a small creek, followed by an uphill approach to the elevated green, slightly to the right, before finishing with the par-4 18th, with another downhill tee shot and a little creek across the fairway, not far from the slightly-elevated green. This time, I found no difference whatsoever between the A & and the B versions (unlike on a few other courses), as both play very smoothly. As a result, you should enjoy this nice course and finish with a good score if you can avoid the small water hazards along the way !

As mentioned on the A course, water displaying bugs (in TW07) made it impossible for me to evaluate. Out of curiosity, though, I played the B version and ended up two shots over my A score... Thank you anyway for releasing those A & B versions. Hopefully, I will have better luck on the next releases !

As you can see there is a A and B version of this course, both versions are the same, only the flag position on the green is different. Important note: a lot of CGX courses are only playable from the: PRO tees The cgx designers created courses in high tempo, so they only made the pro tees playable. So in TW08 you have to select the PRO tees.
