AS I understand it, CGX built these courses for tournament play, and they are perfect for that purpose. The bounces are fair, the landing areas give you a choice between the prudent shot or the hell-for-leather shot, and the greens roll fair - if not a bit quicker than I thought they would. The wind seems to affect the ball properly. All-in-all I absolutely enjoyed both the A and B courses, thanks to all involved with getting these courses to us. And a big thanks to Rubencubo for the flags and logos.

Not surprisingly, another beautiful course, designed by the CGX team, with a colorful hilly countryside, plenty of deep rough in front of the tees, and with trees partially hiding the views of the undulating fairways on some dogleg holes. The front 9 starts with the short (about 340 yards) par-4 1st hole, with plenty of deep rough in front of the tee, and a fairway quite narrow, near the green, with trees and bunkers on both sides. Another short hole (about 325 yards) is the right dogleg par-4 3rd, with trees in the corner and a nice view of a lighthouse on a hilltop, way back to the right, past the green. I also like the dogleg par-4 6th hole, with an elongated lake on the right (behind trees in the corner halfway through) and another one, again on the right, near the green, the straight par-3 7th, with a tee shot over a lake and a nice panoramic view, and the right dogleg par-5 9th hole, with its wide fairway and where you can cut the corner over trees to have a shorter (but still very long !) approach shot to the wide-open green. On the more challenging back 9, I like the two par-5 holes, the long 11th (about 620 yards), with an undulating fairway twisting right, left, then right again, and the left dogleg 13th, with its risk/reward second shot, where you will have to decide if you want to gamble and hit it over trees on the left, knowing that there is a small lake behind and in front of the green... The right dogleg par-4 14th hole, on another hand, is slightly-uphill all the way with a slanted and undulating fairway, deep rough and plenty of bushes across halfway through, and is followed by the short (about 355 yards) left dogleg par-4 15th, with a downhill slope all the way to the green and a big lake behind, way to the right. Then, after the left dogleg par-4 17th hole, similar to the 15th, you will finish with the pretty right dogleg par-4 18th hole, with a downhill and blind tee shot over trees on the right and an elongated lake right behind and extending all the way to the right side of the green. With nice plantings and a beautiful landscape, thanks to the CGX Design team, this par 72 is very enjoyable and a definite keeper, no matter what version(s) you will end up playing !
