Excellent course.

This par 72 has a beautiful mountain panorama, with some nice residential homes around, and quite a few big and wide bunkers, often hidden behind trees.
It starts with the nice panoramic view on the par-4 1st hole, with a big elongated bunker on the right side of the fairway, past the trees in the corner, and nice houses behind the green, and continues with the par-4 2nd, with a tee shot over part of a big lake leading to the green, with houses lined up on the right.
Another nice hole is the left dogleg par-5 4th, quite long (about 580 yards), with a meandering creek all the way to the green, and a choice of landing your second shot to the left or the right of the creek, or going for... broke trying to reach the green !
Then, after two straight holes (par-4 5th and par-3 6th), you will need to hit your tee shot over a T-shaped lake to reach the fairway (with nice houses on the left) on the par-4 7th hole, before aiming for the green, slightly to the right, just like on the par-4 8th, quite similar, but with an approach shot over part of a lake.
If you like tennis, then you will enjoy the par-5 9th hole, slightly to the left, with 4 tennis courts midway on the left, and a nice clubhouse behind the green with 4 more... tennis courts in the back !
The back 9 has some nice holes too, starting with the right dogleg par-4 11th, with a big elongated bunker behind trees in the corner (on the right), and another smaller one on the left near the green, but the long (almost 630 yards) par-5 12th hole is tougher, with houses on the left side, partially hidden by trees, and a nice overview of a lake, bordered by villas, behind the green.
After the par-3 13th hole, with a tee shot over a wide lake, I also like the right dogleg par-5 14th hole, with a tee shot over part of a lake, landing near an isolated tree in the middle of the narrow fairway, with another enormous bunker... behind the trees in the right corner of the fairway.
Finally, you will finish your round with the right dogleg par-4 18th hole, with a few more bunkers behind trees in the corner (on the right), and a small lake on the left side, near the green.
With plenty of high rough on the edges of bunkers and some nice plantings, New Pearl Valley 21 is a real course and a real pleasure to play, thanks to the nice work done, once again, by Micko, who designed another... pearl to keep !
