This was a real treat. Something so different, it just has to be played. The snow falling and the way it accumulates through the last holes is so special. Thank you Quietly for a great masterpiece. I just wonder how the golfer can take it without a coat of some sort, haha. I've seen those Ontario winters, and I did not wear a tee shirt, lol. Yeah, don't hit it in the snow (too late, did that multiple times!).

After playing the Autumn course, I was really curious to discover this wintery version and, needless to say, there are quite a few changes, both visually and in terms of details.
Still, this par 73 is another masterpiece in its own way : as expected, the snow has replaced the gorgeous fall colors and defoliated trees are now part of the scenery. The lakes are frozen and bunkers, on some holes, are almost impossible to see, with all the snow around.
Speaking of the snow, it looks very nice, provided you don't fall into it : if you do (as I did !), you will have a very tough time getting out as it "acts" like very deep sand and bogeys will pile up very quickly (take my word for it, LOL !)...
Other noticeable differences are the Canadian geese (seen flying in a "V" formation on the par-4 4th hole) and other birds, gone to warmer climates ; as for the hot-air balloons (visible on the par-4 12th to 14th holes), they have been grounded...
With such wintery conditions, accuracy will be the name of the game if you want to finish with a decent score but, normally, you should not even be playing this course, as indicated by the "Closed for the season" sign, seen on the gorgeous right dogleg par-4 4th hole (and 8th hole) ! Even the small wooden boat, bobbling on the lake near the green of the very scenic par-3 7th hole is gone...
But the biggest, and most spectacular, difference on this course is the... snow falling on the very scenic par-5 16th and long par-5 17th hole ! Unless mistaken, this is a "world-premiere", once again, designed by Quietly !
However, unfortunately for me, I did not have a chance to enjoy it : snowflakes were, indeed, on the tees and fairways but... not falling ! (Probably has to do with the TW07 settings... I will have to check with Quietly).
But, snow falling or not, this course is visually stunning and will provide you with an unforgettable experience as you will have to find new ways of playing in snowy conditions, thanks, once again, to Quietly's vivid imagination and designing talent !

Notes from Quietly, the designer:

Be sure to copy all contents of CLS folder from zip into install folder if they do not get installed automatically.
ALSO make sure there is a 'snd.ini' in the main course install folder. If not, take that from the zip as well.
