Another winner from BobbyB, I am just overjoyed that I get to play his courses on TW2008...not in real life! Course is very fair, hit good shots get rewarded, hit bad ones and it's a bogie...at best. Gives you a lot of options to take chances, or play safe. Beautiful to look at. Thanks, Bobby, a favorite of mine, added to the list!

Fantastic creation, this is a seriously good course and a beautiful and smooth design. It's a tough beast with lots of demanding architecture - not in a dastardly way, rather just clever and well-conceived. The par 5's collectively are tough to score on but the most difficult part is the run of par 4's on the back - really need to be on your game. You'll definitely want to mark some red on the picturesque one shotters. The best part of the course for mine though was the opening 5 holes or so.. not blowing sunshine, that is one of the best opening stretches I've seen on here, real or fantasy - just brilliant stuff. Outstanding work Mr Bolin, it's a heck of a course. Cheers!

Beautiful course with a very nice small-mountain panorama and wide-open landscape. On the front 9, there are plenty of downhill holes, starting with the left dogleg par-4 1st, and continuing with the very scenic par-4 3rd, with a big pond and nice flowers around it. After the downhill left dogleg par-4 4th hole, quite nice too, I like the two left doglegs par-5 5th hole, with its downhill green, and 8th hole, quite bare but with mounds near the green. After a few holes with more bare land, the right dogleg par-5 12th, with its undulated fairway and small pond on the left side is quite nice. But the prettiest holes, on the back 9, are the very scenic downhill right dogleg par-4 13th, with a pond near the green, and the left dogleg par-4 14th, gorgeous with flowers all around the green. As for the par-3 17th hole, my favorite, it is simply superb, with its steep downhill green and its small pond, "decorated" all around with beautiful flowers. Finally, after a nice downhill tee shot on the par-4 18th hole, you will reach the (rather dark) clubhouse near the elevated green. Well designed, as usual by Bobby Bolin, this par 72 is tougher than it looks and is quite pleasant to look at and fun to play. If his other Bolinwood courses are like this one, you will have a good time golfing in Virginia...
