Thanks for the great course, Bobby. Enjoyed the round and the course played fair, and was nice to look at - I can't match Holein1 for descriptions, but looked fine to me...one thing, in your notes you say to stay below the hole...well, I spent the entire round above the hole, and still managed a +10! Don't quite understand your guidance...!

Nice course wich plays well and is more challenging than expected with plenty of doglegs, subtle elevation changes and a few greens where the ball "sticks like fly paper" !
The first 3 holes are par-4 inland doglegs, with the 2nd, being quite nice with all those flower beds near the tee box and a lone tree in the way, near the green.
The most scenic holes, however, are the dogleg par-4 4th, with the ocean on the left side and a steep elevated green, and the right par-4 5th hole, with a downhill green, next to the ocean too. As for the par-4 9th hole, it is nice too, especially near the green, as you will see the lighthouse on the left, the clubhouse behind and a tennis court and a swimming pool on the right side !
The back 9 has more inland holes, such as the right dogleg par-4 11th, with its elevated green and the ocean behind, the long right dogleg par-5 12th, and the par-4 15th hole, a left dogleg, with an uphill tee shot and a downwhill green.
But the best holes, on the back 9, are the last two : the par-3 17th, quite scenic with the ocean on the left side, and big rocks in the middle, and a tee shot over the cliffs, and the par-4 18th, a left dogleg requiring a big tee shot over the ocean before reaching the green on your approach shot, with the lighthouse on the left side and the clubhouse to the right.
Overall, this par 72 is very pleasant to look at and play, thanks to Bobby's designing talent. So, why don't you... drop by at Dropoff Point and check it out ? You won't be disappointed !
