Fantastic rendition of an awesome course. It's almost a devil-in-disguise job, this. Whilst the length and rating tell you the facts, it appears almost benign on the front, especially after the first few holes when birdies do become a little easier. And then comes the back 9 where the screws tighten.. hole 12 is an absolute brute, 13 a nasty beauty, and it doesn't let up there on. A ripper course and this design does it full justice - loved it, cheers!

(suite) I forgot to mention that I had to turn the animated trees to "off" (for the few of us still playing with TW07): once I did that, the course downloaded without any problem !

Welcome to "Back to the future" ! Thank you Bobby for letting us play at Brookline, two years ahead of the US Open ! Since I have been reading about your progress as you designed this course, step by step, I decided today to play it since you just released it, instead of going down the list of 2008 real courses as I have been doing for quite a while now. What a nice course ! This par-70 is very well done and plays very smoothly. You have done a very good job with the elevation of the terrain and the undulation of the fairways. The greens are nice and smooth and a few of them are a little bit tricky too. Small details like the USGA tee markers, the small bridges, the camera towers or the people standing up and cheering in the grandstands, far away from each other (a sign of the times ?) make this course very enjoyable as long as you don't end up... in the high rough or these well-placed bunkers ! My favorite holes on the front 9 are the S-shaped par-4 3rd with the sloped fairway, the par-4 8th with that big rocky mound in the middle of the fairway and the stand-alone elevated green par-3 9th with that downhill tee shot. On the back 9, I like the par-4 11th with the water right before the green, the long par-5 12th, the par-4 13th with its narrow fairway and the water on the right side and the par-3 16th with its narrow green. I could not finish without mentioning the very nice clubhouse at the 18th, another proof of the nice job you did building this course. Congatulations, once again, Bobby !
