Very interesting course with a mountainous panorama and plenty of water hazards, especially on the front 9. This par 69 plays very smoothly and is not as easy as mentioned in the general info, with plenty of greens, partially hidden by trees, but it is quite scenic with colorful flowers and bushes, plenty of high weeds on both sides of the fairways and lots of bunkers. On the front 9, I like the two left dogleg par-4 1st and 3rd holes, with a big pond and a nice bridge across the fairway, not far from the green (partially hidden by trees) on the first one, and a big mound in the corner, with a lake and flowers all along the fairway on the right side on the latter. The par-3 4th hole is pretty, but a little bit unusual with a small pond in front of its flower-filled green, surrounded by five bunkers and big lakes on both sides. Then, after the dogleg par-5 5th hole, with a lake on the left side and trees at the entrance of the green, you will reach the dogleg par-4 6th hole, which looks like the 1st hole, except that the lake in on the right side, with trees partially hiding the green. As for the par-3 8th hole, it is quite straight with trees encircling the green… The back 9 starts with a very tough dogleg par-4 10th hole, with an undulated and narrow fairway, a lake on the right and plenty of trees leading to the narrow green, and is followed by the par-4 12th hole, straight, but nice with a lake on the left side, bushes and flowers on the right, next to the tree-lined fairway on the right. The next two holes are superb : the short (about 355 yards) par-4 13th hole has plenty of red bushes on the right, trees on the left and bunkers right in front of the green (encircled with blue flowers and trees), whereas the par-3 14th hole is quite short also (about 115 yards), but magnificent with blue flowers on both sides of the tee box and red ones further to the right. Then, after the right dogleg par-4 15th hole, nice too with plenty of trees hiding the view of the green, you will reach the tough, and a little bit unreal, par-3 17th hole, quite scenic but with a green on top of a big and steep mound with bunkers all around ! And you will finish your round with the right dogleg par-4 18th hole, again with more trees partially hiding the green on the right, but with a nice panoramic view... Overall, if this course is a real fantasy one with so many greens, partially hidden by trees, you will have a much better view if you hit good tee shots, and you will enjoy this challenging course, well designed by chipgill !
