Another beautiful stroll up and down England's countryside with a great panorama ! With the sound of a crow accompanying you on a few holes, this par 70 is fun to play and a delight to watch. Not only plantings are very nice but hitting tee shots above small ravines, from one hill to another, is quite a challenge, at times, as you will discover, particularly on some of the par-3 holes (2nd, 9th, 10th, 15th). Besides the 2nd hole, I also like the dogleg to the right par-4 3rd hole, with its slanted fairway and its beautiful view of the countryside with a serpentine creek beyond the green, and the par-4 4th hole, with its blind tee shot over bushes flying way down the fairway before a second shot toward the elevated green. Further down, the 3-hole stretch (8th, 9th, 10th) is simply gorgeous : the par-4 8th, with your tee shot flying above the gully and a small creek, and the two par-3 9th and 10th holes, also above small ravines... Then after an uphill tee shot on the par-4 11th hole and a powerful drive on the par-5 12th hole, the downhill par-4 14th will offer you a chance to reach the green from the tee, provided you have the wind in your back ! If you did not succeed, then you might get an eagle opportunity on the short dogleg to the left par-5 16th hole. As for the last two par-4 holes, you will get a far away glimpse of the old castle (on the right) on the 17th, and of the church (on the left) on the 18th. Needless to say, with the great elevation work also done by TeeOffTowersey, this course is a beauty and will complete my best around-the-world collection...

Mr T is at again, bringing us more tranquil golfing joy from the English country. This is a deceptively testing track - greens are tricky and the fairways will cause some head-scratching. Lots of nice holes - 8, 9 and 12 in particular are blinders. A great little course and expertly done, really beautiful stuff. Cheers!
