Enjoyed the course, there are a lot of places to get lost on the course, and if you're lost...you're lost! Played fair and looked great, thanks.

After finishing my round, I have a strange feeling that I did not play the same course described by the other three players below... If this par 72 is, indeed, well designed and has a very nice small-mountain and lake panorama, it is not quite as "scary" as ron717's general info seems to suggest, nor is it overly difficult, give or take a few holes. After a nice par-4 1st hole, with big black rocks left of the tee box and across the fairway, not far from the elevated green, and a downhill par-3 3rd hole, quite tough with a narrow green and a deep bunker on the left, it was not until the right dogleg par-5 6th hole, very scenic with its island fairway and lake all around (and near the green), that I really felt challenged. However, if seeing an abandoned wooden ship on the left side of the lake on the 6th hole was a little bit surprising (after all, why not ?), I never expected to see on the par-3 7th hole three... elephants (two of them bathing !) near the green, and next to big black rocks again...! After these two holes, the straight par-4 8th, with its split fairways and a couple of high trees in front of the green, looks very nice. Another nice, but unusual sight, is on the right dogleg par-4 10th hole, with a high Japanese-style garden pagoda near the meandering small river, with big rocks around the green. The left dogleg par-5 12th hole, with… ramparts on the left side and a small river running right of the fairway and across, is a risk/reward hole where you will have to think twice about your second shot : if you are in a gambling mood, you will have to be very precise to hit your shot over the ramparts and trees to reach the green… The downhill par-4 13th hole, on another hand, is very pretty with its view of the nice mountain and lake panorama, whereas the downhill right dogleg par-5 16th hole, with a couple of lone trees in the middle of the fairway, should offer you a nice eagle opportunity. While the downhill par-3 17th hole, very similar to the 14th, is pretty with its overview, it is quite easy, just like the left downhill par-4 18th hole, with a river on the left side and nice bunkers near the green. Overall, I think this course is quite nice (even with those 2 or 3 odd sights) and you should try it out so that you can see for yourself that the predator is not as tough as it sounds !
