Here is the 3rd course from MSR Golf, released in 2020, that crashed before I could take a look at it, until I found out today that I had to delete the "cls" folder to download it (I am playing with TW07...).
Turns out that this par 72 is pretty nice with a lot of undulated and twisted fairways, quite a few uphill and blind shots, downhill tee shots and a few water hazards.
On the front 9, I like the downhill par-5 2nd hole, with its uphill approach shot and the... sound of the train (visible on the left side), the par-3 4th, with its blind tee shot and sloped green, the par-4 5th, with its steep uphill tee shot and the par-3 8th hole and its nice overview of the lake, the bridge and the landscape around.
But my favorite hole is the tough downhill par-5 9th, with its twisted fairway and its stream on the left side in the middle of the fairway, with trees near it, then running all the way near the green.
Coming back, the 4-hole stretch (10th to 13th) is pretty and quite challenging. The par-4 10th hole has two lakes to contend with (in front of the tee box and on the left side of the green) and the par-5 11th has a tough uphill and blind approach shot to the green.
The par-3 12th hole is easy but nice with its big lake between the tee box and the elevated green, and the right dogleg par-4 13th is quite picturesque with houses on the left side and a small lake on the right.
The downhill par-5 16th hole and its blind approach shot and the scenic left dogleg par-4 18th, with its small bridge near the tee box, and the clubhouse and parking lot near the green, are also worth mentioning.
Piper Glen golf course might not be the most difficult one you will ever play, but it is well designed, as usual by MSR Golf, and a very nice to keep...
