ron717 is on a roll ! After the Southerness Golf Club in Scotland, here is another links beauty, this time, set in the state of New York.
With another beautiful sea panorama, very nice landscape and gorgeous mansions, this par 70 plays very smoothly and is quite pleasant to look at. After a nice opening par-4 hole, with small ponds on both sides of the green, I like the slightly curved to the right par-4 3rd hole, with that big house on the left side near the tee box and a few trees along the fairway on the left side with the road on the right, and the par-3 5th hole with its tricky undulated green.
The par-4 7th hole, with its small pond on the right side and its isolated lighthouse beyond the green, and the par-4 9th, with its beautiful view of the sea (and of a couple of fishing boats), stand out too.
On the back 9, my favorite holes are the dogleg par-4 14th, with a small lake on the left side and its elevated green, the dogleg to the right par-5 15th, with its gorgeous view from the tee box, with all these colorful flowers around, and the "sea-to-shining-sea" par-4 18th hole, where your tee shot flies over the sea before you... see the "shining" sea, again, beyond the green !
Needless to say, this course is another evidence of how ron717 has improved over the years : with time, more experience and new designing tools, he is now one of the best designers around as you will see after downloading his "newest" gem !

Loved it! This course has a great layout, is challenging and interesting, and has buckets of beauty. And for all that it played seamlessly. I read a couple of articles about the course afterwards (such was my enjoyment) and much of what was said was captured perfectly by this design. Amazing work, my hat's off sir. Cheers!

many thanks for sharing , a fun little course , i do prefer more of a prettier look and pleasing on the eye in general , but thats only my own preference , im sure most people will enjoy I played it with Sally we Both enjoyed it well done..
