Another great-looking course from rlslay, with its manicured and (often) wide and undulating fairways, gorgeous (and abundant) plantings, a few water hazards and a beautiful countryside as a panorama, but not too difficult, compared to some of his other designs, with the front 9 being a little more “challenging”.
After three dogleg par-4 holes to start with (left, right, then left again), I like the pretty par-3 4th, with its elevated green and nice panoramic view of the countryside beyond, and the long, straight and challenging par-5 5th hole, with a small bunker right in the middle of the undulating and narrow fairway, halfway (with and an elongated lake on the left), and two more shots to reach the slightly-elevated green.
Between the next two right dogleg par-4 holes, I like the 6th the most, with that elongated lake on the left, midway of the undulating fairway, followed then by the short (around 125 yards) par-3 8th hole, with a blind and downhill tee shot and an elongated greenside bunker on the right to watch for.
The back 9 is easier with wider fairways but it has some nice holes too, like the pretty and easy par-3 11th, with a tee shot over part of the wide lake on the left, landing onto a wide green (with another magnificent panoramic view to admire), and the beautiful left dogleg par-5 12th hole, bending sharply to the left, making your tee shot quite tricky if you want to cut the corner and have a “shorter” approach to the green.
The par-4 15th is another scenic hole, slightly-uphill all the way, with a tee shot over a small winding river flowing then all along to the right and past the green, just like the par-4 17th, with an elongated lake, midway, ending to the right of the green, whereas the par-5 18th hole is a right dogleg, with a slightly-elevated and undulating green, where you should have one last chance for an eagle or birdie opportunity.
Beautiful to watch and fun to play, this par 72 will reward you with a stress-free round of golf, as if you were playing in your... hometown !

Another great layout Rob. Played smooth and greens were outstanding. Cant say I was a big fan of the repititious shrubbery, but this did not take away from the enjoyment of the course. Thanks again for all your great talent on these course designs.
