Thanks again, rislay, for another great course, I've come to realize I'm a bit of a traditionalist in golf courses, love elevation but equally enjoy playing courses where the name of the game is golf, and Holiday Greens is a golf course...for the ages. Loved it, another favorite, and all the admiration in the world for your skill, and for your taste in creating golf courses where the operative word is golf.

As I often mention with rlslay’s courses, this one is another eye candy and... a gardener’s nightmare, with plenty of bushes and small fir trees all along the wide fairways, with a back 9 more challenging with bigger water hazards. The par-4 1st hole sets the tone with beautiful plantings on both sides of the slightly-undulating fairway and with a green, slightly to the right, just like the par-4 2nd, pretty also with a (bright) blue ocean as a backdrop and a green, slightly to the left. After the nice par-3 3rd hole, with a big pond across in front of the slightly-downhill green, you will face another big pond in front on the green on the right dogleg par-5 4th, after hitting a slightly-uphill tee shot. The next three holes, after the straight par-4 5th hole, with a slightly-downhill tee shot along beautiful vegetation, are quite nice : the par-4 6th is a left dogleg, with a downhill tee shot over rows of bushes on the left side, and a slightly-elevated green (with gorgeous views of wide fields behind, delimited by palm trees), the par-3 7th is downhill and pretty with a small pond on the left side of the green, and the par-5 8th hole is a right dogleg, with an undulating and slanted fairway, with a little mound in the right corner halfway (with bunkers on its slope), and a long approach shot toward the green. After the ponds, you will face the lakes ! Starting with the left dogleg par-4 9th hole, with an elongated lake on the left halfway, you will deal with bigger water hazards coming back, with the right dogleg par-4 10th, with an elongated lake on the left halfway, and a slightly-elevated green. One of my favorite holes, however, is the picturesque left dogleg par-5 12th, with those wide fields on the left, nice meandering paths (with one splitting the fairway halfway), and with a long, blind and slightly-uphill approach to the green, over bushes and a few trees ! Then, after the right dogleg par-4 13th hole, with plenty of bunkers on the right side, you will face some very nice (and challenging) holes, such as the left dogleg par-4 14th, with a tee shot over a very wide lake with bunkers on the edge of the other bank, and the long (about 600 yards) right dogleg par-5 15th, with a tee shot along a wide and elongated lake on the left and a (very) long approach shot to the green. On the left dogleg par-4 16th hole, quite pretty with the ocean in front, you will have to hit a second shot over a big elongated... pond to reach the green, on the left, before moving on to the nice par-3 17th, with a blind tee shot over rows of bushes downward to the green, with three bunkers on the right)(, and finishing with the left dogleg par-4 18th hole, with its nice inland panoramic view of the fields, bushes and small mountains far away. Needless to say, Holiday Greens GC is another beauty from rlslay (even if it is not his most difficult course), and, after playing it, you might decide to stay there for your... holidays !
