Superb links course with a great view of the bay and small towns nearby. The landscape looks gorgeous too, with lots of yellow flowers, mounds and undulated fairways, not to mention a few creeks, here and there...
This par 70, however, is not the toughest links course you will ever play, as there are a lot of straight holes, especially on the front 9, but it plays very smoothly provided you don't land in those dreaded bunkers !
While the par-3 4th hole is easy, it has a nice overview of the lake and the towns beyond, but my favorite hole on the front 9 is the downhill dogleg to the left par-5 6th, with the stream running across the fairway not far from the green.
The back 9 is more scenic, starting with the slightly downhill par-4 10th hole, with its serpentine creek running across the fairway and its two small bridges, but the best holes are yet to come...
The slightly curved to the left par-5 13th hole, with its serpentine creek and undulated fairway, has a tough blind second shot to try to reach the green, whereas the par-4 14th does not look spectacular until you realize how steeply downhill the green is ! As for the par-3 15th hole, it is superb with its big mound facing the tee and hiding the green.
Overall, this course is gorgeous and a definite keeper, thanks to ron717 who came up with, probably, one of this best courses ever !
