Par 72 8013 yds Although a long course -playing downhill almost the whole course makes it very nice and really not that long. Beautiful golf course with the city of San Francisco and Bay seen on many holes and the very nice planting of flowers and bushes. No Tour setup. Looks beautiful - plays great. Awesome! Another rlslay masterpiece from the 1st tee to the 18th green, where adjectives like stunning, gorgeous, magnificent are not enough to describe this par 72 !
The first thing that you will notice is the unbelievable San Francisco panorama : not only it is awesome but it is also very crisp, no matter where you look (making you feel like you just cleaned your eyeglasses !).
With superb vegetation, "cute" stone meandering walking paths, and nice (and blue !) water hazards, this course is delightful to play... and admire.
On the front 9 where most of the holes are slightly downhill, I like the right dogleg par-4 1st, with nice mountains as a panorama and a small lake on the left side of the green, the par-3 3rd hole, with a big lake in front and the city skyline panorama further down, and the right dogleg par-4 4th, with a view of the bay on the left side and mountains on the other side.
The right dogleg par-4 5th hole is visually gorgeous with skyscrapers behind the downhill green, and so is the slightly left dogleg par-4 7th hole, with a big lake on the left side and a downhill green with a beautiful complex and plenty of flowers around.
As for the right downhill dogleg par-5 9th hole, it is very pretty too with small mountains on the left side and the city skyline in front and to the right.
The back 9 starts very nicely with the downhill par-3 10th hole and a lake in front and is followed by two downhill par-5s, the 11th and 12th holes, with lakes on the left side.
The other downhill par-3 13th hole is very picturesque with plenty of bushes below midway through, and the panoramic city skyline in front.
On the last few holes, my favorites are the slightly to the left downhill par-4 15th, with a beautiful view of the green with a lake on the left side and beyond and nice mountains as a backdrop and, the gorgeous downhill par-5 18th hole, slightly to the right, with a big lake on the left side and the bay behind : simply superb !
Needless to say, "if you are going to San Francisco", don't forget to play this marvel, once again designed by rslay...

Picasso has once again delivered IMHO another masterpiece. Enough said.
