Very nice course that could easily be located in some hilly countryside in England. With its wide open look, beautiful fences and hedges, small bunches of high trees, this par 73 is also quite challenging with plenty of elevation changes and tough approach shots with pot bunkers guarding quite a few greens. On the front 9, I like the first two downhill par-4 holes, slightly to the right, with a big gully, filled with gorse bushes near the green on the 1st hole, and a big pond "replacing" the gully on the 2nd hole. After a nice uphill par-3 3rd hole, the right dogleg par-5 4th, with its undulated fairway, uphill tee and approach shots, is quite tough with gorse bushes and a pot bunker guarding the green. If the downhill par-4 5th hole is straight, it is quite picturesque with high trees on the left side near the tee box and a big pond behind the green, and quite different from the very sharp dogleg par-5 6th hole, with a lake on the left side and high trees and bushes in the corner. Another nice and tough hole is the left dogleg par-5 7th, quite short (about 450 yards) but, with its steep uphill tee shot followed by a downhill slope to the green, and a big gully in between, you can forget about scoring an eagle... The scenery then changes drastically with the straight par-4 8th hole with its twisted and narrow fairway with trees, left and right, but the most beautiful hole, on the front 9 is the left dogleg par-4 9th, with high trees on the left side of the fairway, an uphill tee shot and a gorgeous approach shot to the green and its spectacular mansion (seen on the above picture). The back 9 starts with a nice downhill par-4 10th hole, slightly to the right, with a big pond on the right of the green and is followed by two steep uphill holes, the right dogleg par-5 11th and the par-4 12th, with a downhill green and a big pot bunker in front of it. Then, after the right dogleg par-4 13th hole, with its sloped fairway (and a small pond on the left side) and downhill slope all the way to the green, guarded by another pot bunker, the scenery changes again with the downhill left dogleg par-4 14th hole, quite nice with a big gully on the left filled with (gorse) bushes. One of the most picturesque holes on the back 9 is the par-3 15th hole, with a small peninsula green at the end of the big pond (seen on the 10th hole on the right). Then, after the dogleg par-4 16th hole, slightly to the right with high trees on the right of the fairway and a big gully on the left side (and an uphill approach shot to the green), you will have to be careful about the little stream running across the fairway of the downhill par-4 17th hole. As for the uphill par-3 18th hole, it is simply gorgeous with its mansion, seen on the 9th hole, and very high trees behind… Beautifully designed by Tee Off Towersey, this course offers a great variety of shots and sights (by the way, don't forget to take a look at the "unified" flags !) and is a definite keeper !

A outstanding course, great blend of textures, tricky 2nd shots, fair greens. Course looks and feel real and natural with good bunker work and the ponds. I like the uphill shot on hole 9 and the view on 10, and also liked hole 15. A very cool job with the flag ... a keeper for sure and thanks for your time and effort
