Nice little course, with an unusual sight on the 1st hole and a wide-open landscape with beautiful trees, scenic fairways with plenty of very wide bunkers, and a few big lakes to watch for.
This par 72 starts with the straight par-4 1st hole, with a beautiful road (but leading where ?) next to... a rocky wall on the right side and some wide bunkers on the left.
After a couple of dogleg holes, the par-5 5th, slightly to the right, is quite nice with wide bunkers along the way and a lake on the right side of the green, and is followed by the par-4 6th hole, only about 290 yards long, with a tee shot over the lake and more wide bunkers to deal with.
My favorite holes on the front 9, however, are the par-3 8th, slightly downhill and quite scenic with its nice panoramic view of the lake behind the green, and the right dogleg par-5 9th hole, with trees in the corner on both sides and a lake to the left all the way to the green.
On the back 9, I like the scenic par-4 10th hole, slightly to the left, with 3 big bunkers and the lake on the left side, and the two following short holes, the par-4 12th (about 315 yards away), and the right dogleg par-5 13th hole, with trees partially hiding the fairway on your approach shot.
The par-5 15th hole is straight, but pretty, with big bunkers on the left side of the fairway, close to the lake, whereas the par-4 17th hole has a nice overview of the lake behind as you reach the green.
Finally, you will finish your round with the nice par-4 18th hole, with the lake on the left side along with some nice tangerine-colored trees and 4 wide bunkers before reaching the slightly-elevated green and seeing, far away, that mysterious rocky wall...
Even though this course is not the most difficult one you will ever play, it is quite nice, especially with those wide bunkers which give it its original and eye-pleasing look, thanks to the nice job done by Wild Turkey Design !
