Another nice course from MSR Golf, even though it is not overly challenging with plenty of straight holes.
With snow-capped mountains, nice plantings and "cute" small planes as tee markers, this par 72 is fun to play, though, starting with the par-4 1st hole, with its tee shot right in front of the... road ! After a few mostly straightforward holes, the par-3 5th is quite nice with its green surrounded by the meandering lake, but the dogleg to the left par-4 6th is beautiful with all that water on the left side and with its slanted fairway. As for the dogleg to the left par-5 9th hole, it is quite picturesque with all the villas around and its mountain panorama.
While the scenery on the back 9 is nice, the toughest hole is, unquestionably, the long (more than 620 yards !) par-5 18th hole, similar to the 6th hole, a dogleg with plenty of water on the left side.
With smooth textures, small ponds, lakes and a few fountains, this course fulfills its... mission, thanks to MSR Golf !

Excellent design, realistic and it played beautifully. The course layout itself is not an overly exciting one, but it IS an prime test of golf, particularly on your tee and long iron shots - accuracy essential! Pick of the bunch for me were the par 4 6th, par 5 9th and par 3 17th - and I should mention the final hole, well worth the wait. A really great design and very enjoyable course.
And I'd like to echo Scully's words below. I've downloaded MSR's and about a dozen or so other designer's courses multiple times.. and it never ceases to amaze me just how good you guys are - champions all. Cheers and bravo indeed!

You guys do not get the credit you so justly deserve. Your course designs are in a class by themselves. They are a testament to hard work, attention to detail and a wonderful ability to bring
your courses right into my living room for the enjoyment of us all on this great site. I have said it before and will lead the cheers again.....'BRAVO DUDES'..keep them coming. I don't know what I'll do if you don't...Its been a long time since I played tidlie-wink!!!!!
