Most outstanding thing to me are the greens, love the texture. Course plays fair, bounces are true, and while not the most challenging course ever built, a great place to play a relaxing round where you can enjoy the golf and the sunshine. Thanks, MGAHoover, appreciate your work and your ability. Fore!

A very pleasant course, with wide open views, plenty of waist-high rough all over and doglegs around big lakes with quite a few large elongated, and strategically-placed, bunkers to watch for. On the front 9, I like the scenic par-4 1st hole, with a blind tee shot downhill, with three big bunkers along the way (two of them on both sides of the green), and a lake in the back, the nice right dogleg par-5 2nd, with a downhill tee shot over medium rough, a big and elongated bunker on the right midway on the edge of a wide lake (with another smaller one on the left of the fairway)n and a long approach to the green (with a bunker on the left), and the pretty straight par-4 3rd hole, with a downhill tee shot and a second shot over part of the lake to reach the peninsula green, surrounded by more rough. On the par-4 5th hole, you will need to hit a downhill tee shot over some high rough and avoid a couple of big bunkers in the middle of the narrow fairway, hugging a big lake on the right, before aiming for the green, slightly to the right, unlike on the nice left dogleg par-5 7th where, after a tee shot over deep rough landing near a wide ditch filled with trees and bushes (halfway on the left), you will have a tough time trying to reach the green on your long approach shot with more rough and two big bunkers on the right, in front of the green. Water comes back into play on the next few holes, starting with the left dogleg par-5 9th, with a slightly-uphill tee shot, a slanted fairway with an enormous elongated bunker on the left on the edge of a wide lake, and a long approach shot over the water to reach the peninsula green. The back 9 begins with the short (about 345 yards) left dogleg par-4 10th hole, bending sharply around the lake with another elongated bunker on the edge, not far from the green, and continues with the similar, but less difficult, left dogleg par-4 11th, with a tee shot over high rough, the wide lake on the left, and a slightly-elevated green. The next few holes are among my favorites : the par-4 12th is straight, and tricky, with the lake on the left and a narrow fairway with a couple of staggered bunkers on both sides, the par-3 14th hole is cute, with a slightly-uphill tee shot over the lake and a wide peninsula green, and the par-4 15th is a left dogleg with a tee shot over deep rough and a big meandering ditch across the fairway (filled with a few trees and bushes) and a small elongated bunker on the left and right corner. As for the pretty left dogleg par-4 16th hole, it is uphill all the way, with a tee shot over more rough, four big bunkers in the left corner (following each other) and an approach shot to the green, over that big ditch again, with more deep rough all the way behind ! Finally, the last two par-4 holes are left doglegs, with the 17th, slightly downhill all the way to the green, and the 18th, being flatter with an elongated bunker on both sides of the fairway in the corner. With plenty of roughage and quite a few water hazards on the back 9, this par 72 will challenge you, but if you can avoid all those "traps", you should finish with a nice score on this course, well designed by M.G.A.
