What a visually-stunning course ! This par 72, designed by MSR Golf, is a true masterpiece with its beautiful fairways, gorgeous plantings, nice views of the... Red Sea, pretty villas, and ponds and lakes which, for once on my PC, really look nice and blue !
All holes have gorgeous overall views, but if I had to pick a few favorite holes, I would mention the par-3 3rd, and the 6-hole stretch on the back 9, starting from the par-5 13th, with its uphill tee shot and small lake on the right side near the green.
The dogleg to the right par-4 14th hole, with its nice flowers and bushes around the tee box, and the dogleg to the left par-4 15th are very pretty too, just like the par-3 16th hole with its tough pin placement, very close to the sea (that you can hear !) on the left side.
After the dogleg to the left par-4 17th, my favorite hole, on the whole course, is the superb par-5 18th, slightly downhill from the tee and with a very difficult and long approach shot to the green, framed by a lake on the left side and bunkers on the right.
Last but not least, you will be able to play on this course, 24 hours a day, as projectors are everywhere to make sure that you will enjoy your round of golf to the fullest at the King Abdullah Economic City !!!
