A wide open course with plenty of colorful flowers, making this par 72 very pleasant to the eye and quite fun to play, with some water hazards, undulating fairways, elevation changes and quite a few tricky greens. The right dogleg par-4 opening hole is pretty, with a downhill tee shot landing between an elongated bunker on the left and a wide lake on the right, and is followed by the left dogleg par-4 2nd, with two blind shots to reach the green, next to the lake, behind on the right. After blue flowers, you will be surrounded by red flowers as you tee off on the par-3 3rd hole over the wide lake and downhill to the green, before moving on to the right dogleg par-4 4th, with a downhill tee shot landing onto a slanted fairway and an elevated green. The right dogleg par-4 5th hole is short (around 300 yards) and you can reach its elevated green with a 9 iron or your driver, but you will have to avoid four bunkers in the right corner and an elongated one further on the left, unlike the challenging and pretty left dogleg par-5 6th, uphill all the way, with small pot bunkers, scattered left and right all along, with two blind shots needed to reach the wide and sloped green. Then, after the pretty par-3 8th hole, with its flag next to the lake on the left, you will finish the front 9 with a nice par-5 where, after a downhill tee shot, you will need a long and uphill approach to reach the green. Coming back, you will start with the beautiful left dogleg par-5 10th hole, with trees and blue flowers all along the slanted fairway on the left and where, after a blind and uphill tee shot, you will need to hit another blind shot to reach its downhill green, with two big bunkers in front to watch for. Then, after the downhill par-4 11th hole, and its green, next to the lake behind, and the uphill par-3 12th, with a tee shot above deep rough and blue bushes), you will move on to the pretty left dogleg par-5 13th hole, with a downhill tee shot landing onto a narrow fairway, between a big elongated bunker on the left (ending near the elevated green) and the lake on the right. After the left dogleg par-4 14th hole and its steeply-elevated green, and the downhill par-3 15th, you will face the right dogleg par-4 16th hole, uphill all the way, with bunkers on both sides of the narrow fairway, midway (and next to the lake on the right), before moving on to the short (around 325 yards) and pretty left dogleg par-4 17th, where you should play it safe and hit your uphill tee shot to the right, instead of cutting the corner with your blind shot to try to reach its steeply-elevated and sloped green, guarded by a heart-shaped bunker in front, on the right. You will finish your round with the par-4 18th hole, with a downhill tee shot and a slightly-uphill approach to the green for a last birdie opportunity on this pretty and colorful course, where you should definitely not have the... blues after playing it, thanks to M.G.A.
