Baautiful green course surrounded by rocky mountains, much tougher than it looks with some long par-5s and sharp doglegs.
As usual, MSR Golf did a great job with the vegetation making this par 72, delightful to watch and play, as the sharp dogleg to the left par-4 1st hole will attest, with its little creek running along the left side of the fairway or the similar and long par-5 4th, with its small river and bunkers, again on the left side.
After the easy but scenic par-3 5th hole, with all its bushes in front, the dogleg to the left par-5 7th, with its rollercoaster fairway, is quite long. I also like the par-3 8th hole with its narrow fairway and its green, surrounded by trees, and the par-4 9th with its serpentine creek leading to the green slightly downhill.
On the back 9, the par-3 13th hole is nice, but long (close to 260 yards !), with its pond and fountain on the right side of the green, just like the par-4 15th, with its creek running downhill to the left of the fairway before crossing it near the green. The last two par-5 holes are pretty tough : the 16th, a sharp dogleg to the right and, my favorite hole on this course, the 18th with two "sweaty and risky" shots over the water, from the tee box and then to reach the green, guarded by a pond and bunkers.
Released in 2018, this course is one of the best and a definite top notch, thanks, once again, to the designing talent of MSR Golf...

I know it's very hard to recreate real courses.
Some holes are ok ( eg. 2nd) but several are way off the reality. Nr4 has unnatural bump in elevation. Nr 5 is way too low, 17th signature is qiute different too.
Would love to see updated version.

Agree. A really beautiful course. What a great eye you have. I don't play, but would love to take a tour of it--as you have interpreted it.
