A nice and green course, with uphill and downhill fairways, a few elevated greens and ponds to deal with.
After a nice par-5 1st hole, short enough to give you an eagle opportunity, I like the pretty dogleg to the left par-4 3rd, with its downhill tee shot, but my favorite two holes on the front 9 are the scenic par-3 5th hole and the dogleg to the right par-5 6th, both with tough flag placements on a narrowest part of the greens with water on the left side and bunkers on the right.
On the back 9, I like the mostly straight downhill par-4 11th hole with a creek running across the fairway near the green, and the overview of the par-3 12th. The par-4 15th and par-3 16th holes are pretty too with their serpentine creeks and ponds.
Overall, a well-designed course by the CGX team : now, it's time to move on to the West course and compare it...
